An MMA fighter making his boxing debut faces a lifetime ban from the sport after just one fight, after KO’ing his opponent with a brutal head kick.

Idris Abdurashidov was getting absolutely battered by pro boxer Bagher Faraji in Phuket, Thailand, the other night, and so pulled out the ultimate scumbag move with a vicious head kick KO:

So basically this undefeated MMA fighter decided to broaden his horizons and take on a boxer, but when things weren’t going his way, he went back into MMA mode and put out his opponent’s lights with a devastating head kick (with shoes on, no less!). If you want to give him the benefit of the doubt, I guess you could say he was dazed/confused/in survival mode after getting beaten up the whole fight, but then maybe he’s just a pr1ck with zero self-control?

Either way, Abdurashidov is now facing a lifetime ban which is probably well-deserved because you cannot sign up for a boxing match and then decide it’s an MMA fight halfway through the sixth round. Especially not without telling your opponent first!

P.S. Besides being illegal, it was a solid head kick. Gotta give him that, at least.
