Everything about Hurricane Milton over in Florida sounds absolutely terrifying. It’s the fastest hurricane to intensify from a tropical storm to a category 5 in the history of the Atlantic Ocean, and is causing total devastation with 180 MPH max sustained winds and gusts reaching 200+ MPH, which is borderline unthinkable.

Even still, there are American streamers, influencers and attention seekers who aren’t even Florida residents travelling to the state to complete a $70,000 challenge set by another streamer. These kids will do anything for money except get a job eh? Here’s how it’s going for one lowly streamer:

The streamer who originally set the challenge, Adin Ross, has since claimed the $70,000 prize was only offered to specific friends of his, and that others simply tried to get involved in order to try and get rich by making content off one of the scariest and most dangerous hurricanes in history. Here’s a comment Adin Ross left under the streamer’s livestream:

In fact he’s heading to the comment section of every streamer in Florida, telling them they won’t be paid and to evacuate immediately, so that’s nice of him:

I mean, what are you supposed to if you’re a streamer from out of state and are now already in Florida filming content? Just pack up and leave like Adin Ross says, or stick around and see what happens? I guess they’re already stupid enough to head out there and risk their lives for some cash/content, so may as well see it until the end. Who knows? It may even thin the herd a little bit.

As for Adin Ross, might have been a better idea to offer that $70,000 to relief efforts to help those affected by Hurricane Milton. Come on, lad! Do the right thing.
