We all know that paparazzi are some the weirdest/worst people in the world; showing up at people’s doorsteps, following them around in the streets, hiding in cars/trees/bushes just to get a candid photo of someone’s private life. But even still, this quick story from Sydney Sweeney about a recent experience with the paps is just a pure disgrace.

As reported by Glamour:

Lately photographers have started going to extreme measures because of it. They recently showed up at Sweeney’s new home in Florida and started yelling at her family who were outside. “They said, ‘If you tell her to just come outside in a bikini, I’ll take pictures and then I’ll leave you alone,’” she says. On social media, people speculated that she had called the paparazzi herself, something she vehemently denies. “Why would I call the paparazzi to take pictures of me at my own house when my baby cousins and family are there and I’m in my backyard? Why would I ever want that? I have pictures of these guys in kayaks hiding in bushes in the ocean. They got there at 8 a.m. and wouldn’t leave until 4 p.m. I should be able to be in my home and feel comfortable and safe.”

Yikes. Literally negotiating with Sydney Sweeney’s family that if they convince her to come outside in a bikini so that they can take a few photos, they would then agree to leave the family alone (for the day).

What makes it even more ridiculous is that Sydney Sweeney probably shows more skin than any other celebrity on the planet at the moment. In fact it seems like she goes out of her way to make sure that we see as much of her bare body as possible on social media, in photoshoots, and in her movies and TV appearances. In her recent film ‘Anyone But You’, she’s in a bikini for practically the whole movie!

I mean, clearly she has no issue showing off her body whatsoever, as long as it’s on her terms…

And so, I’m not sure why it’s so worth it for the paparazzi to go to such disgraceful measures to get a bikini picture of Sydney Sweeney outside her home, when there are already 1000s of photos of Sydney Sweeney in a bikini all over the internet. You’ve probably seen Sydney Sweeney in a bikini or low-cut top at some point in the last couple years without even intending to; that’s how common a sight it is. So to be camped outside her home and threaten her family for a few more of said photos? Pathetic, to say the least!
