This is not a drill – multiple UK publications are reporting that Oasis will be reuniting in 2025, with massive shows scheduled for Manchester and London next summer; the 30th anniversary of ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’.
Noel and Liam Gallagher appear to have settled their differences and, if the truce holds, will play massive concerts in London and at Manchester’s Heaton Park in 2025

“As it stands, the Manchester Evening News understands that the Gallagher brothers are set to take to the stage next summer, with several night at Manchester’s Heaton Park in July being discussed with the relevant parties and authorities. What’s more – the Oasis X account has Tweeted out the following graphic, which teases some kind of announcement for 8AM tomorrow (August 27th):

8AM where? There are literally more than 20 time zones! Well, I don’t suppose it matters so long as the rumours are true and the band is getting back together. Which would suggest that Liam & Noel have finally set aside their years of sibling rivalry in order to make music history, or at least, are happy to tolerate each other in order to make some serious £££ next summer.
Of course, we shouldn’t get our hopes up too much. A lot can happen between now and summer 2025, including another irreconcilable fallout between the brothers that leads to them not talking for another 20 years. It’s very possible that they could announce an Oasis reunion tomorrow morning, and have it cancelled by the afternoon. That’s just how it goes with the Gallagher brothers.
Still, for now, this is a huge W for those of us who never stopped believing. It truly does have the potential to be the greatest rock and roll reunion in history, with Oasis fandom as big as ever now thanks to various documentaries about the band over the years and both brothers having their own solo careers too.
Sh1t, they may even be headlining Glastonbury next year…

They’re going to sell out every single venue they perform in, that’s for sure. I’m sure we’ll have more on this tomorrow, but for now, let’s just soak this up…
