Earlier this week, avid UFC fan Donald Trump appeared on Adin Ross’s podcast and claimed that Khabib Nurmagomedov – the arch nemesis of Conor McGregor – is his favourite UFC fighter of all time. Which is a fair shout, because Khabib is/was f-cking awesome.
Not only did Trump big up Khabib on his undefeated record and how he “never lost a round” (which is untrue, but anyway), he also made sure to mention that Khabib told him he was the only guy who could put an end to the Russia/Ukraine war…

Hilariously, Conor McGregor is absolutely RAGING about all this, Tweeting out a stream of unhinged rants where he claims that Donald Trump will now lose the Presidential race to Kamala Harris for saying Khabib is his favourite UFC fighter…
Absolutely fuming. Conor McGregor just cannot wrap his head around the fact that Donald Trump chose a non-American fighter as his favourite UFC star, and calls it a “campaign ending decision” for Trump, which is completely dumb and delusional but just goes to show how unbelievably angry McGregor is about all this. He really cannot get over the fact that Khabib demolished him in the Octagon, can he?
Admittedly, it is a little bit odd that Trump chose Khabib as his favourite fighter and not one of the many American fighters who kiss his @rse on the regular, but then again, maybe it’s not that surprising that the fighter he admires the most is the one who was essentially perfect throughout his entire UFC career, and also paid him a massive compliment with the Russia/Ukraine thing.
Anyway, we’ll have to wait and see whether the polls flip upside down now as McGregor predicts. Meanwhile, here’s what the former champ has been up to…
