As the riots and protests continue to rage around Britain in areas like Birmingham, Southport, Sunderland and Leeds, we are reminded of just how many idiots and plebs are participating on both sides of the fight, and how brainlessly shameless they are in letting themselves be known.
In Birmingham yesterday, a Sky News reporter was forced off the air by a group of masked morons who confronted the cameras and starting yelling, swearing, doing gun-fingers, and all that jazz:

A man in a balaclava then had a few stabs at the tyres of the Sky News van as they tried to make a getaway:

The guy who Tweeted this screen-recording claims that Sky News deleted the video, which is true, but they have since re-uploaded it and done a whole story on it, so fair play to them on that.
Whether it’s the ‘patriot’ types fighting police, attacking mosques and looting Greggs stores or masked roadmen carrying swords in public, attacking news vans, and being hostile to reporters, it’s just so unfortunate that these idiots have to make an appearance in the first place and make the reasonable protesters look bad. Just an utterly depressing situation that’s showing no signs of slowing down.
Fortunately, no one has been killed yet, but is that an inevitability if we allow these riots to continue? Not a great start to Keir Starmer’s run as Prime Minister, that’s for sure.
