A man is going viral for dining and dashing on a Hinge date after the girl he matched with brought a friend along with her to the restaurant, where they proceeded to take the absolute p1ss by ordering anything and everything they wanted, obviously presuming this guy was paying for everything.
Do you blame him for the way he handled it? Watch below:
@_johnnyamerica I dined and dashed on a hinge date. Am I wrong for this? #hinge #date #storytime #fypシ゚viral ♬ original sound – _johnnyamerica
So did the ladies even end up paying the bill after our hero had dine & dashed? Here’s an update he provided the next day after re-visiting the restaurant:
@_johnnyamerica Heres Part 2 of my hinge date #hinge #date #fypシ゚viral #storytime ♬ original sound – _johnnyamerica
One thing’s for sure, this isn’t the first time these ladies have pulled a stunt like this, but it may be the first time it was unsuccessful. Although some other chump did end up paying for their meals anyway, so I guess it’s a W for them any way you look at it. Still, he probably should have cancelled the date as soon as he realised she had brought a friend with her, but maybe he was too stunned by the audacity to think properly in the moment.
What I want to know is – why are people still getting dinner on a first date off the internet? Surely it’s a better idea to get some drinks at the bar and see what happens, rather than commit to sitting across each other at a table munching on food. Especially when said first date commands an expensive dinner/swanky night out before even having met you. First date should always be low key IMO. After that, play your cards, gents!
For the girl who went on a date with a masculine man and says it erased all her ‘woke’ programming, click HERE. Wonder if he would have paid for the friend?
