The Get Jay Slater Home GoFundMe has now raised over £32,000+, and so the missing teenager’s mum Debbie has added an update to the page where she’s thanking everyone for their generosity and explaining what the money will go towards:

Sounds like she’s saying GoFundMe have put a hold on the funds until perhaps there’s more clarity involving the situation with Jay Slater. Which is fair enough really, given all the conspiracy theories and speculations and allegations doing the rounds. 

Here’s Lucy Law, Jay’s friend and the last person he spoke to on the phone before going missing:

We’re now on day #8 of the search for Jay Slater, and there don’t seem to be any breakthroughs. The lad started an 11-hour trek back to his accommodation in Tenerife after missing the last bus home from a festival, and then vanished off the face of the planet. Given Jay’s backstory, I’m not surprised that there are so many suspicions over the GoFundMe and what really happened out in Tenerife. 

His mum’s TV interview the other night didn’t exactly help matters, either…
