Well, not so much an update, but in the absence of any progress around the search for Jay Slater, new footage of the teenager taken at a rave hours before he went missing in Tenerife is now doing the rounds.

The clip shows Jay walking across a packed dancefloor with his shades propped on his head, gurning his face off as music blares in the background:

Obviously that footage alone won’t be much help as the search for Jay Slater carries on into its day #5, but maybe there’s other footage out there from the same night that can offer some clues as to who he may have been with or where he may have ended up during the 11-hour hike back to his apartment.

Here’s hoping Jay Slater is found alive and well before the weekend closes, although the longer this goes on, the harder it is to keep the faith.
