Really bizarre clip doing the rounds today of pop mega star Ariana Grande appearing on a podcast where her voice completely changes out of nowhere for no apparent reason.

How weird is that? It seems to me that the first, deeper voice is her natural voice and when she suddenly remembers that she’s on a podcast being listened to by millions of people, she switches back to a high-pitched, Paris Hilton-style voice which I guess is what she thinks her fans want to hear? Is Ariana Grande method acting? Is she a schizophrenic with multiple personalities or what?
In fairness, she does sing some ridiculously high notes in her music so I suppose singing/talking in a high-pitched voice or even multiple voices could be second nature to her, but it’s still an interesting/terrifying look at the ‘persona’ and image that uber famous pop stars like Ariana Grande feel that they need to keep up in public. Can’t she at least give interviews like this one in her normal voice? I think most people would agree it sounds better than talking like a poor man’s Michael Jackson.
