Less than 24 hours after Rishi Sunak said he ‘went without’ Sky TV as a child, he’s now dropped another clanger after Beth Rigby gave him the opportunity to increase his likeability ahead of the general election in three weeks time.
Rigby asked Sunak during ‘The Battle For Number 10’ last night to tell the audience something about himself that might make them like him more. Here’s what he came up with:

At this rate we’ll have a new quotable from Rishi Sunak literally every time he opens his mouth as the battle for Number 10 heads into the July 5 election. Surely there’s no way Sunak and the Tories emerge victorious this time, but then they are up against Keir Starmer’s Labour so anything’s possible.
Just the other day, Rishi Sunak got absolutely skewered by a Sky News reporter while attempting to apologise for his D-Day absence. Painful stuff.
