Kevin Spacey gave a long interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored last night, which was pretty astonishing not just because Piers managed to go 90 minutes without asking a guest if they condemn Hamas, but also because of how open Kevin Spacey was about his fall from grace and multiple sexual assault allegations against him.
The two-time Oscar winner also recalled flying on Jeffrey Epstein’s jet with the deceased paedophile, Bill Clinton, and a group of “young girls”, thanked both Elton John and King Charles for their support, and then started crying as he revealed he is broke and being forced to sell his home due to legal bills that have left him “many millions” of dollars in debt.
NEW: Actor Kevin Spacey starts crying during an interview with Piers Morgan, says he owes millions of dollars in legal fees.
Morgan: Are you facing bankruptcy?
Spacey: We’ve managed to sort of dodge it, at least as of today.
Morgan: How much money do you have?

Well, he did get away with all the sex accusations in the end, so it’s hard to feel too sorry for someone with that much money, power and influence, even if it has left him a bit light in the pockets (if that is to be believed).
At one point, Spacey confessed to having “behaved badly”, and when pressed by Piers, elaborated by saying:
“Pushing the boundaries. Being too handsy. Touching someone sexually in a way that that I didn’t know at the time they didn’t want.”
“The word ‘grope’ is a very odd word,” he said. “I personally… I have caressed people, I have been gentle with people. That is the way that I am. You’re making a pass at someone. You don’t want to be aggressive. You want to be gentle. You want to see if they’re going to respond positively. So I think the word itself is not a word that I associate with my experience.”
So, he says he’s innocent and was acquitted of all the sex crimes, but then admits to them? Borderline OJ Simpson ‘If I did it…’ vibes. Again, I guess these are the privileges you’re afforded when you’re a rich Hollywood A-lister, even if it means your career has to go on the backburner for a while.
Here’s a timeline of events for those wondering:
Oct. 29, 2017: Actor Anthony Rapp alleges Spacey made a ‘sexual advance’ toward him when he was 14.
Nov. 8, 2017: Several more allegations surface against Spacey.
Dec. 24, 2018: Spacey faces felony charge over alleged sexual assault.
July 17, 2019: Prosecutors drop charges against Spacey in Massachusetts sexual assault case.
September 2019: Sexual assault accuser dies, ending possibility of a trial.
May 26, 2022: Spacey charged with multiple counts of sexual assault in the U.K.
October 20, 2022: Spacey found not liable for battery against Anthony Rapp.
Nov. 16, 2022: Seven additional charges brought against Spacey in the
U.K. July 26, 2023: Spacey cleared of all sexual assault charges in U.K. trial.
That’s a lot of sexual assault allegations, which makes it all the more remarkable that he’s got away with it. In fact, all in all, Kevin Spacey has 50+ sexual accusers since 1977! Reckon they’re all liars, or what?
Kevin Spacey now hopes to return to work at the highest levels of TV and film, which would be irksome but on the other hand he is a fantastic actor so might not be the worst thing in the world. I would say he should just take his Oscars and his millions and disappear, but as he says in the interview, he’s apparently flat broke and his apartment is being auctioned off. So at least he’s facing a little justice for what he did. Maybe he could a few commercials for third world countries, or something?
