A London watch dealer has been found dead less than 24 hours after he was robbed at his West London shop.
Oliver White was found dead in his home in Surrey on Sunday, less than a day after this footage of two men robbing him of several watches at his shop went viral:
Shocking surveillance footage captures the moment two men restrained high-value London watch dealer Oliver White and stole his timepieces. Tragically, less than 24 hours later, Oliver took his own life. The Met Police have appealed for anyone who recognizes the two men to come… pic.twitter.com/Paj9WVaBhA

Police say that Oliver’s death is “not being treated as suspicious”, and we all know what that’s code for. Furthermore, the article on LBC does not state how Oliver died, but does include contact information for The Samaritans at the end of the story.
From the sounds of it, the poor guy was so traumatised over the incident that he took his own life. Not to mention that just a few of those watches would put the value of the theft in the hundreds of thousands of pounds mark. These two scumbags took so many items from Oliver’s shop that the insurance would have been a pittance.
The Metropolitan Police are continuing to search for the suspects, which you wouldn’t think was too difficult given they robbed the place without covering their faces. Here’s hoping these pieces of sh*t have the book thrown at them when they’re inevitably tracked down.
RIP Oliver, and thoughts with his family and friends, and girlfriend Alana Dredge.
