Tom Cruise is a fascinating guy. On one hand, he seems completely weird and insane (the scientology, jumping on Oprah’s couch, all the crazy stories we’ve heard over the years), but on the other hand, he’s f*cking awesome (his movies and stunts).
His behaviour at Victoria Beckham’s birthday party the other night was maybe a little of both, as apparently the 61-year-old Hollywood legend broke out into a breakdancing routine that involved doing the splits, and left everyone in attendance “dumbfounded.”
Here’s how the NY Post describe it:
Tom Cruise, 61, reportedly stole the show with agile dance moves at Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday bash, which happened in London on Saturday night.
Cruise has reportedly been friends with Beckham and her husband, Inter Miami CF President David Beckham, 48, for two decades, and the “Mission: Impossible” star did a breakdance routine that wowed the A-list crowd.
There were no cameras allowed, but a source told the Daily Mail about the “Risky Business” star’s antics, “People were absolutely dumbfounded.”
So, according to this source, people weren’t so much impressed as they were “dumbfounded”. Which is an interesting word to describe the general reaction in that room. Although I guess it does make sense, as walking into a party and seeing Tom Cruise on the dancefloor doing the splits while mid-breakdance routine would be a pretty dumbfounding experience no matter who or where you are.
