The Kate Abdo/Jamie Carragher/Thierry Henry/Micah Richards foursome on CBS Sports blows Sky Sports and TNT out of the water with their football coverage and punditry, but also because of how they routinely take the mick out of each other. Last night though, Jamie Carragher seemed to rub a few people up the wrong way with his joke at the expense of Kate Abdo.
In recent weeks, Kate Abdo’s relationship with Deontay Wilder’s boxing trainer Malik Scott has been a running joke on the show, prompting this awkward comment by Jamie Carragher which was met with complete silence by his co-hosts:

Pretty funny I guess, but maybe not for Kate Abdo when you accuse her of cheating on her man in front of millions of people watching live. I mean, obviously it was a joke, but still. She didn’t seem to appreciate it too much so I imagine Jamie Carragher may have offered an apology when they went off air. Hopefully Malik took it well too and didn’t make Kate sleep on the couch when she got home last night.
