Rule #1 of going to Thailand – don’t mess with the locals. That includes Thai ladyboys you’ve invited round for a sex party with the lads, which in this case descended into a chaotic brawl that resulted in one British man being stabbed in the stomach, valuables being stolen and smashed glass everywhere.
The men had reportedly invited five ladyboy escorts and two other women to their villa for a gang bang in the early hours of Thursday, February 22 in Phuket, Thailand. In the end, there was an argument over prices that turned violent and ended up waking up the entire street.
Inside the villa, there was broken glass, blood stains, empty bottles and cigarette butts scattered everywhere:
A neighbour watching from his balcony commented: “My god, they were killing each other in there. It was like World War 3. Everything was being thrown around. I wanted to get a helmet for my own safety.”
Police treated a 23-year-old from Bristol for a stab wound to his stomach before rushing him to hospital. The other two men were treated for minor injuries. In addition, one woman was hurt on her head and arm and also taken to hospital.
Apparently the fight kicked off after one of the Thai ladyboys grabbed a wallet belonging to one of the stingy Brits. In the ensuing brawl, one of the men was stabbed in the stomach with a kitchen knife as the ladyboys began grabbing items from drawers.
Police Captain Surasak Sudmuang said: “We received a report of an incident at the Kata Ocean View Residence at 4 am. When we arrived we learned that the foreign tourists had reached out to three transgender prostitutes to come to their villa and agreed to pay them 4,000 baht each.”
£88 x 3 for a night of fun with three ladyboys? Bargain! Well, if you’re into that sort of thing. For whatever reason though the lads shortchanged them, and one ended up with a knife in the belly. Try explaining that one to your mum from the hospital bed!
Again, Thailand is not the place where you want to renege on any deal, especially when you’ve invited a bunch of ladyboys round for a sex party at 4am. It will end in tears every time. Lesson learned.
