It takes a special kind of stupid to go to jail as a multi-millionaire musician, but that’s where Atlanta rapper Young Thug finds himself after being hit with several RICO charges including murder, attempted murder, bribery, selling drugs, hiring hitmen to murder people, and lots more legally and morally suspect activity, for which he faces 120 years in prison.
It turns out his lawyer is almost as stupid as he is (or maybe he just thinks the judge is stupid), because he just tried explaining to the court that the ‘Thug’ in ‘Young Thug’ stands for ‘Truly Humbled Under God’, which means Young Thug must be a decent bloke after all:

He also tried to argue that the meaning of ‘P’ in Young Thug’s song ‘Pushin P’ is about ‘Pushing Positivity’, and absolutely not about Pushing Percocets:
Earlier: Young Thug’s lawyer explained that the meaning of “P” in Young Thug & Gunna’s hit track “Pushin P” is “Pushing Positivity.”

Incredible. Although in fairness to Young Thug’s lawyer, his client has pretty much left him with an impossible task, especially after boasting about the specific crimes he’s on trial for in his music, and even putting out a diss track to the judge last year. Seriously, that’s how thick this guy is:

But just when you thought he couldn’t get any dumber, he was also caught conducting a drug deal IN COURT as jury selection was taking place. Not even joking – his co-defendant slipped him a Percocet pill in one of the most blatant exchanges of drugs ever witnessed in court:
So yeah, it’s no wonder his lawyer is basically throwing everything at the wall just to see what sticks, because there’s absolutely no way that Young Thug is leaving prison anytime soon. The court case will probably drag on for a while longer though, so expect more clips before it’s all said and done.
