Police have issued an e-fit of a “Harry Kane lookalike” wanted over a robbery in south-west London, prompting all the classic jokes about the former Spurs star finally bagging some silverware.
The image was shared after the crime took place in an alley along Twickenham Riverside on October 26.
Not sure how much use that e-fit will prove to be though, given that Harry Kane has quite a “stereotypical” English look (if that’s OK to say in 2023). After all, there’s Harry Kane lookalikes everywhere you look:
Believe it or not, none of these lads are the actual Harry Kane. But it just goes to show that police have their hands full with this particular case.
No word on whether Richmond upon Thames police have confirmed an alibi for Harry Kane himself, but it would be a tough ask for him to jet in from Bayern Munich, rob some poor lady in an alley in Twickenham, and then report back to Bayern in time for training. Although if he is as desperate for silverware as everyone says, then we may have a solid motive on our hands. Despite his strong start to life in Germany, Bayern still sit second in the league table…
