For those who don’t know, Gary Lineker’s younger brother Wayne is a bit of a party king over in Ibiza, and from the looks of it the guy just hangs out in the sun and parties with girls half his age (and younger) 24/7.
With a reputation like that, it probably wasn’t the best idea to turn up on stage at Peter Crouch’s ‘Crouchfest’ at the weekend, where 12,000 people immediately started a massive, deafening ‘paedo’ chant at him:
Peter Crouch is holding his festival #CrouchFest and has brought out Wayne Lineker as a special guest.

Oh dear. Obviously it’s all just banter and there’s no evidence anywhere to suggest that Wayne Lineker is a literal paedo, but it still hurt his feelings all the same, as he explained in an Instagram post later on:
Listen, if you’re a 61-year-old man who spends his time partying with twenty-somethings in Ibiza, then go up on stage in front of 12,000 banter-loving Brits, what do you expect’s going to happen? ‘Paedo’ chants are ringing out every single time. You live and you learn.
