Here’s what Aussie hero Mick Moloney had to say to 7 News:
“I saw a kangaroo … with his arms in the water, basically just staring at me. All of a sudden, Hutchy came up gasping for air, water spilling out of his mouth and screaming his head off. I was like, ‘are you kidding me? I’m going to punch your f–kin head in.'”
He did warn the kangaroo, to be fair. In the end, it was kill or be killed (or get your dog killed, at the very least), I mean look at the size of this beast:

In the end, Mick did what any dog owner/dog lover would do. Punched that kangaroo in the face and sent it packing. Yeah OK he had time to pull out his phone and hit record which doesn’t exactly indicate a level of emergency, but that’s neither her nor there. The most important thing is that Hutchy is OK. Thank goodness!
