In a move that was definitely designed to wind up half the internet, trans woman and ‘Bud Light’ flop Dylan Mulvaney has been crowned Attitude magazine’s ‘Woman of the Year’, sponsored by Virgin Atlantic. Graciously accepting the award, Dylan says:
Dylan Mulvaney is our Woman of the Year, supported by @virginatlantic ✨
“Knowing that my community sees me this way and acknowledges my womanhood is all I need to keep going.”

The general reaction is about what you would expect, and I guess exactly what Attitude Mag were looking for:
Mulvaney came to prominence on TikTok where she became so massive that Bud Light decided to make her the face of their company in the name of ‘inclusivity’. That completely backfired after sales immediately dropped and Mulvaney has been receiving stick over the whole thing ever since.
Still, it seems Attitude Magazine has her back and she’s still popular on social media, so I guess it’s not all bad news. Wonder which brands will be keen to work with Mulvaney now that she’s been crowned ‘Woman of the Year’?
