Squid Game was so popular that it was only a matter of time before Netflix turned it into a reality show/real-life competition, even though that hilariously contradicts the anti-capitalist message of the original. Even still, there’s absolutely no way this isn’t #1 on Netflix the moment it drops:

Obviously it would be a lot better if the contestants’ lives were actually on the line, but there’s probably too many legal/ethical obstacles they’d have to deal with. Not that they didn’t manage to fall into some controversy anyway:

The contestants were “treated like complete garbage”? What do you expect? It’s Squid Game! They should be grateful they weren’t machine gunned to death during a game of Red Light, Green Light.
Well anyway, this probably means that Season 2 of Squid Game is also on the horizon. Although I doubt that sweet old man will be involved after he got #MeToo’d by a fan of the show. Whoops.
