A man who was taking a break-up with his girlfriend very badly indeed turned up at her home in Sweden with a ladder, climbed up onto her balcony, and managed to break into her home and stab one of her friends, reports Visegrad24. The friend did manage to get it all on video, though:

Fortunately, the ex-girlfriend managed to lock herself in the toilet and the police showed up before any more damage could be done. What I really don’t understand is why no one knocked him off the ladder before he had a chance to get on the balcony and start attacking everyone? One little nudge and he would have fallen to his death, or at least broken an ankle or something! They had all the time in the wrong to weigh up their options as he was climbing up the ladder with a knife in his hand and deranged look in his eye. Where’s the survival instinct?!
Well anyway, in the end, the assailant was sentenced to two years in prison and probably ruined any chance he had of getting back with his girl. Lesson learned?
