West Sussex rock duo Royal Blood are being rinsed online after throwing a massive tantrum at Radio One’s Big Weekend the other day, with frontman Mike Kerr really disappointed by the crowd’s (lack of) reaction to their set.
Check out what a big baby this guy is:

“I guess I should introduce ourselves since no one knows he we are.
We’re called Royal Blood and this is rock music. Who likes rock music? Nine people. Brilliant.
We’re having to clap ourselves because that was so pathetic.”
Turning to the camera man on stage, Kerr asked: “Can you clap for us? Can you clap? Yes, even he’s clapping.” Turning back to the audience, he said: “What does that say about you?”
In the end, Kerr abruptly walked off stage with his middle fingers in the air which I guess is one rocker move he’s now ticked off his bucket list, but it also meant drummer Ben Thatcher had to stand there by himself on stage and awkwardly say goodbye to the fans by himself.
The line-up on the day included Lewis Capaldi and Niall Horan, so maybe it’s not too shocking that they couldn’t win over an audience of mostly teenage girls at a pop festival. Still, even Royal Blood fans think Mike Kerr was being a prat on the day:
Should probably go back to headlining gigs at mid-sized venues if this is how they’re going to go on. Then again, maybe the organisers could’ve done a better job splitting the acts up over the weekend? Nice to get some of that BBC publicity either way, even if it is for being a crybaby on stage.
