Since the advent of ChatGPT at the end of last year, there seems to be startling developments in the field of AI  almost every day and today is no exception with a band deciding to use AI technology to generate a lost Oasis album.

AIsis – see what they did there? – is described as an ‘alternate reality concept album’ and imagines that the Oasis line-up from 1995 to 1997 continued to write music and that the master DAT tape from that session has only surfaced now. Disappointingly, the record isn’t 100% AI and the music was actually written and performed by a Manchester band called Breezer, with AI only being used to replicate Liam Gallagher’s voice, but the results are still actually pretty accurate.

We’re bored of waiting for Oasis to reform, so we’ve got an AI modelled Liam Gallagher (inspired by @JekSpek) to step in and help out on some tunes that were written during lockdown 2021 for a short lived, but much loved band called Breezer (@breezerfever).

It seemed to be a perfect match, and we love how some of these have turned out. We have a 2nd bunch of songs to come if you want to hear more, please let us know in the comments.

Note: We’ve thoroughly enjoyed convincing our mates these are actually Oasis lost tunes, and recommend you try the same too.

I’m not the biggest Oasis fan out there but I obviously know all of the hits and I wasn’t convinced when I first started listening to this, but by the second song I had fully bought into the project. They’re major bangers!  I reckon if you had played it to me and told me it was a lost Oasis record then I probably would have fully bought it to be honest. Kinda phenomenal but also really scary.
