Anyone with two working eyes and a brain would look at before and after photos of Kylie Jenner and come to the conclusion that she’s had a considerable amount of work done, but according to the billionaire cosmetics mogul, she hasn’t had as much done as you’d think.
Kylie gave an interview to Homme Girls this week where she said:
I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person.
Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room. I was the girl performing for everyone. I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it. But I always thought I was cute.
Jus the lip filler? Hmm, I’m not so sure. Filler cannot the shape of your nose, eyelids, jaw line etc. Still, I guess it depends on how you define “a lot” or surgery. Kylie goes on to say that she’s trying to embrace her ‘natural beauty’ and that people “don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do”, while not mentioning the cost of these things and acting like anyone could have access to them. It’s a bit like Kim telling women to get off their butts and work.
Fortunately, she wasn’t asked about her body because then she’d have to lie about not getting a boob job and a BBL and tell us that if we work out/eat right we can look just like she does.
At the end of the day though, what matters is that Kylie Jenner feels good about the way she looks, even if that means providing unrealistic standards for all the young women out there who look up to her, right?
At least she hasn’t completely transformed her face like sister Khloe, who looks like a totally different person now than she did a few years ago.
