Charles Bronson seemed certain that he was going to be released from prison after his parole hearing yesterday, but the board ended up denying his request.

You would probably expect him to be pretty gutted about this decision, but it seems like the opposite is true after he enjoyed a phone call with his friend David Courtney. Take a look at the footage below:

Tomorrow morning I’ll be on that f****** yard, with a big smile on my face, breaking out my press-ups, and I hope there’s a couple of screws out there watching.

All the security guards are good for is stuffing their faces, and farting and they’re jealous of my fitness, which he’s been maintaining for 40 years.

Then I’ll come back to me cell and I’ll create beautiful pieces of art.

Well, I’m not really sure what to make of that. I suppose it’s good that he doesn’t seem that bothered about it all, but it also kind of doesn’t make sense considering how much he was banging on about getting out and everything he was looking forward to doing. So is it all an act? And if it is then what does he hope to gain from it all? Very strange behaviour, but I guess we’ll discover what his endgame is very soon.
