It doesn’t really seem like too many people are talking about Andrew Tate at the moment after he’s been laid up in Romanian prison for the past three months, but it’s been announced yesterday that his and his brother Tristan’s bail has been denied yet again, meaning that he’ll have to spend another month at least in the slammer.

The brothers have been detained as it’s thought that they’re a flight risk and that Tate could use his social media influence to affect witnesses and evidence if he were out in the free world. Pretty sure he can still do that now as he’s constantly tweeting, but whatever.
Here’s what a spokesperson for the Tate family had to say about it all:
The court has decided to extend the Tate brothers’ preventative arrest. We have been rendered speechless by the news.
The interaction with the judge was extremely dynamic and the brothers were offered for the first time the opportunity to present all legal guarantees that they are not a flight risk. They are the first ones who want light to be shed on this case. The substantial material damages they have suffered are nothing compared to the moral ones.
Their image has been irreparably harmed and it will take years to rebuild the reputation, trust and connection with the general public.
I mean I guess the spokesperson isn’t wrong about that, but surely if they’re still in prison then there must be some evidence of crimes being committed? Tate’s lawyers are going to appeal the decision again on Friday, but it kinda just seems like every time their bail is up they’re just gonna be told to stay in prison for another month and nothing is even gonna happen with the actual case at this point. Hurry up Romanian police yeah?
For more of the same, check out Andrew Tate making a pro trans argument but also somehow be misogynistic at the same time. Only Andrew Tate huh?
