I don’t think there’s any debate about tattoos being cool at this point because nowadays they’re 100% mainstream, so could you imagine how cool it would be to get paid to get one rather than having to pay hundreds of pounds yourself?

This is the situation that everyone’s favourite YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul found himself in recently, being gifted £250,000 by DJ Charlie Sloth for getting a bottle of the DJ’s company Blue Raspberry Au Vodka tattooed on his arm. You can see how it all went down in the video below that was posted on Sloth’s Instagram:
Eh I dunno if it is that cool to get paid to get a tattoo when the tattoo is as lame and as visible as that one. Yeah, I know I would definitely get it if someone paid me $250,000, but Jake Paul is supposedly worth $38 million so you really have to question why he’s doing it at this point. It definitely doesn’t look cool and he definitely doesn’t need the money, so what the hell is the guy playing at? I guess $250,000 is still $250,000 but even so.
Also kinda question Charlie Sloth’s marketing budget here. Yeah I suppose Jake Paul getting the tattoo is going to get a bunch of exposure, but is it $250,000 worth of exposure? I doubt most people will even be able to see what brand of vodka the bottle on Jake Paul’s arm is and the original video only has 27,000 likes. Sure, I’m writing about it now but I don’t think I’m gonna remember that it was Au Vodka in a couple of days. Will you?
