Last week it was Prince Harry’s stupid autobiography that dominated the news headlines and this week it seems as if it’s going to be Amazon Prime’s decision to cancel their partnership with Jeremy Clarkson after his hate filled rant against Meghan Markle before Christmas.

Surprisingly, the decision by Amazon doesn’t seem to have been celebrated by the woke community as you might have expected it to be, but instead more people seem to have come out and condemned the streaming platform for axing Clarkson. A lot of them have even gone as far to cancel their Prime membership because of it and post about how proud they are of themselves on social media:
I see Amazon have suspended Jeremy Clarkson over his comments on Meghan Markle. I actually don’t have a strong opinion on that, nor am I a huge fan of Jeremy Clarkson. I do however, care about free speech.

Really looking forward to @JeremyClarkson Clarkson’s Farm second series. And then, once I’m done, assuming @amazon leave him cancelled, cancelling my prime. We can’t give in to bullies, Amazon shouldn’t do the bullies’ bidding for them.

Cancelled my @amazon prime membership. I thought I was buying a retail service not supporting a political system. This is the only language these organisations understand. Cancel Clarkson — who’s next? pic.twitter.com/6v7G8CU8t8

Works both ways, cancelled Amazon Prime and don’t watch woke ITV. Their loss.

I don’t agree with cancel culture but if that’s what they want, I’ve happily obliged and cancelled Amazon prime .

Just cancelled Amazon prime!! The phone lines are totally congested!!

OK so a lot of those accounts don’t have pictures and I haven’t looked at them all individually to decipher if they’re actually real, but even so that’s a hell of a lot of people that are majorly upset about Amazon’s decision. Way more than I would have expected to cancel their subscription because of it, especially as the main reason I would have thought that most people have Amazon Prime is so that you can get stuff delivered to you on the same day at no extra charge?
Maybe old anti woke people don’t use that service as much as me and only care about Jeremy Clarkson though. Their and Amazon’s loss I suppose. Stay tuned to see who wins the woke culture war.
Also, I have to mention that last tweet about how the phone lines are ‘totally congested’. Who the hell phones up Amazon to cancel their account, you can literally do it with a click of a button. Morons – if you can post a tweet then you can probably figure out how to cancel your Amazon Prime membership without calling anyone. Just saying.
For more of the same, check out when woke teenagers demanded an apology from Robert Downey Jr. Maybe that was a bit too much.
