I’m not really sure why there seems to be such a bad opinion of King Charles – he’s not really any better or any worse than anyone in the Royal Family is he? – but ever since he ascended to the throne people have wanted to throw eggs at him.

This first incident happened last month in York and has now occurred again in Luton where Charles and Camilla were walking around and talking to members of the public. An unknown man in his early 20s threw the egg at Charles this time and footage below shows members of his security detail hurrying him away from the possibility of any potential attack.

Looks serious huh? Shame you can’t even see the egg throw and it’s also a massive shame that these losers aren’t better shots because even though I don’t super hate him or anything I think it would be pretty jokes to see King Charles get hit in the face with an egg. Funny to see anyone get hit in the face with an egg to be honest.

Anyway, this guy in his 20s was arrested and is currently being questioned whilst in custody. No details about his identity yet, but expect him to come out in the near future and saying something about how throwing eggs at the King is a protest against fascism or something. Real hot political take there.
