The perfect moment arose for FC Smorgon star Vladislav Shubovich during his side’s game with Belarussian rivals Volna Pinsk the other night. The defender had just scored in the 85th minute to put his team 2-0 up, which couldn’t have been any sweeter timing for what he had planned – a romantic proposal to his long-term girlfriend in front of family, friends, teammates and the home crowd.

Just one problem though – this absolute jobsworth of a security guard:

Moment = ruined. You have no other choice but to re-do the whole proposal after that, which could take months or even years before it feels like a surprise again. Even the ref ran over to join in with the berating of the hapless steward; that’s how much he screwed this moment up for everyone. Guy’s lucky the groom-to-be didn’t spark him out for nearly shoving his girl to oblivion:

Then again, might’ve been a good idea to clue the guy in beforehand. Poor guy probably feels like he was just doing his job. Maybe don’t shove people so aggressively next time, especially when it comes to ladies half your size.
