It’s been hard to keep up with the Balthazar/James Corden beef as they literally keep going round in circles about being OK with each other then at each other’s throats again, but owner Keith McNally has now released a statement which he hopes will be the final word on the matter.

Everyone thought it was sorted last week after McNally said he had accepted Corden’s apology, but the talk show host then made a bit of a joke of it all in his monologue on ‘The Late Late Show’ and doubled down on this in an interview with ‘The London Times’. Corden basically sort of admitted he was rude but said he didn’t shout and scream at staff members and McNally is seemingly saying that this is a complete fabrication.
Take a look at what he had to say below:
Yeah, I really gotta say I agree with him and I even said during his apology on his TV show that Corden was just making a joke about it and not really taking responsibility or being too genuine. I’m actually kinda surprised McNally didn’t see it at the time.
Hopefully this is now the end of it and I can stop writing about it because it’s getting kind of boring to be honest. Balthazar will probably enjoy the publicity from the last week and become an essential eating spot in New York City yet again. Keith McNally himself has about 100,000 more followers than this time last week! Hate to say it but he should probably me thanking James Corden really at this point.
