The guy with the unbelievably punchable face above has kicked up a storm on TikTok after putting out this clip that reveals he purposely parks on double yellow lines, which he sees as VIP parking:

Luke Desmaris, 27, claims to have a monthly salary of more than £100k through stock trading, so picking up parking fines in London is no big deal, especially as it saves him time to make more money to pay said parking fines with (via LadBible):
“I see it as saving my time and my time is valuable. It’s the convenience of it,” Luke said, admitting that he’s had a staggering £7K worth of fines in the past year alone.
If I can save my time by doing that then I will. It means I’m able to go home quicker to get back to trading. That’s my logic behind it.
I’ll do it when I go shopping, especially in London. I’ll just park it outside because it can be a nightmare to park otherwise.”
In fairness to Luke, it’s cheaper to get a parking fine in Central London than it is to pay for parking for the day, so I think he’s figured out a life hack there. No wonder he’s made all that money! Now if he could only put it towards getting a decent haircut…
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea charges £130 per parking fine, which is halved to £65 if paid within 14 days, so you can see why it’s a no-brainer. People are saying Luke should have points taken off his license or be fined larger amounts, but at this point, I think it’s a case of don’t hate the player, hate the game. Even if the player is really easy to hate.
