Well, there’s no denying it. This cloud that emerged above Telford yesterday definitely resembles Queen Elizabeth II. Or maybe a burnt piece of toast? Or Yoda? Depends how you look at it I guess.
Facebook user Leanne Bethell recognised the unusual cloud formation while driving through Telford with her 11-year-old daughter, 11, who was actually the one who pointed it out. Leanne posted on Facebook:
‘Driving home and Lacey starts shouting OMG! I panicked… Then she pointed this image out in the clouds. The Queen. Rest in peace.’
Her post has gone insanely viral, with some commenters certain it’s a divine sign from beyond and others just plainly taking the p*ss out of the whole thing…
Another lady commented to say she’d also seen the Lizzie cloud in the sky:
‘It’s not coincidence. My lad saw this and sent me a photo, he isn’t the kind to post, and I wouldn’t call him a royalist by any means, but he and his fiance knew what they saw.’
Another said:
‘I saw this rainbows first then this she def showed her passing.’
The rainbows? Oh yes, there were rainbows as well. Definitely nothing to do with the weather and only occurring because Queen Elizabeth passed away…
Anyway, this is the UK so of course preposterous stories like these are going to make the rounds. The Queen’s funeral is expected take place at Westminster Abbey in central London on Monday, September 19, which will be attended by the Royals as well as 2,000 heads of state, prime ministers and presidents, European royals and key figures around the globe. Fully expect the Lizzie cloud to make an appearance too. It’s going to be huge!
