It’s been a tough year for a lot of people due to the cost of living crisis and everything else, but thankfully Heinz have decided to try and put a smile on our faces by releasing hash brown fingers that are filled with baked beans.

I don’t really think I’ve ever contemplated combining these two food items – despite the fact that we’ve seen baked bean jaffels and quesadillas in previous years – but some legend over at Heinz saw the potential and I think that everyone is glad that he did. The official announcement came from Iceland’s Twitter account and the majority of replies were overwhelmingly positive:

A fried egg? That’s a bit too much surely, but I think I’m there for the baked bean filled hash browns. What could possibly go wrong?
Sadly, we don’t actually know any more details about the baked bean browns (love that alliteration) at this point in time like how much they’ll cost, how many you’ll get in a packet or just when they go on sale, but I can imagine if they’re being sold in Iceland that you’ll get a good deal. Won’t be too long until we find out either.
