I don’t think anyone would ever accuse Jeremy Kyle of being a sensitive, empathetic or tactful person, but it was still surprising to see him cut off Bill Bailey as he spoke about his late, great friend Sean Lock on TalkTV the other night.
As Bailey recalled how he and Lock used to love taking long walks together, Kyle spoke over his guest to ask another question:
In fairness to Kyle, maybe he had a producer in his ear telling him to wrap things up or whatever, but it’s not that easy to give someone the benefit of the doubt when they made a career out of telling the most unfortunate people in Britain what useless pieces of sh*t they are, as Kyle did on the Jeremy Kyle Show for so many years.
It’s just a shame for the many Sean Lock fans out there who would have loved to hear Bill Bailey finish his anecdotes about his old friend, and for Bailey too who looked baffled by the interruption. RIP Sean Lock – never forget:
