I’m not sure how someone can claim to be an ‘influencer’ with only 18k followers on Instagram, but I guess that’s why they get into dumb situations like this one; to give blogs like us an excuse to post their pictures and bump up their followers a bit.

Brazilian ‘influencer’ Iara Ferreira claims she was shopping in a supermarket in Miami when an employee approached her and asked her to leave the store. Her crime? Being ‘hot’ and wearing revealing clothing! Iara says she’s sure the man recognised her from OnlyFans and assumed she was filming herself in the store (again, is that a crime?). She told the NY Post:

“I felt humiliated, I was in shock when he took me out of the market screaming. My look was not scandalous. I wear it in Brazil, on a daily basis, and I never went through that.

The employee accused me of something I didn’t do. For me it’s prejudice just because I’m hot.”

Prejudice against hot people! Is there a more shocking, systemic prejudice than that? If there is, I’d like to hear it. I mean of all the places where someone should be able walk around a supermarket with practically no clothes on, you’d think Miami would be it. And who gets to decide exactly what’s too revealing or too hot anyway? The supermarket employee? Every other person in Miami is walking around in a bikini everywhere they go!

I do love the delusion that the supermarket employee recognised her from OnlyFans though. Would he really kick you out the store if he was one of your subscribers? In any case, I agree with her on one thing: if you’re allowed to walk around in certain attire (or lack of) in Brazil, you should be able to walk around in that attire in Miami too. Go Iara Go!
