The past couple of years have been pretty tough on people without a partner as there wasn’t exactly much chance to get out there and start dating during the pandemic, but I’m not sure if that excuses this latest TikTok trend of rubbing vaginal juices on yourself in order to attract a partner.

It’s calle vabbing – a cross between vagina and dabbing – and has recently been popularised by TikTok users Mandy Lee and Jewlieah with the hashtag having over 20 million views. The idea is that using your vaginal juices will attract a partner due to the pheromones that they release, however Dr Jen Gunter explains that there’s no actual science behind this claim:

@jewlieah here’s the rules you need to know on how to #vab ✨ have you tried #vabbing ♬ original sound – jewlieah

Humans don’t have a functioning vomeronasal organ, which is the organ that you need to actually process pheromones.

There’s no evidence that human behavior is driven by pheromones.

There are a variety of aromas that come from down below.

And sometimes they can be sweet, and sometimes they can’t be.

It’s not going to be as powerful a bloke attractor as some ladies may think.

Well obviously I can’t test this out myself but maybe it’s soemthing you might want to investigate if you’re female out there. I suppose even if it isn’t confirmed scientifically, there’s a chance that it might just make you more confident if you believe that the pheromones are attracting people and that could have a knock on effect in your pursuit of someone to go home with that night. Or maybe that’s just complete bollocks as well? Who knows, but if you try out vabbing then let us know how it goes. Sounds like an interesting ‘social experiment’ sure.

For more of the same, check out when Cara Delvingne sold her vagina as an NFT. Anything goes these days.
