Whilst the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial is a very serious matter and should be treated as such, there’s no denying that there have also been some laugh out loud moments and another one of these came into focus yesterday.

We’ve already talked about TMZ paparazzi Morgan Tremaine (what a sleazy name hey, I guess the name does fit the job sometimes) after he admitted that he was tipped off to photograph a bruised Amber Heard filing a restraining order against Johnny Depp, but now here’s a bit of a rinse from him after he was questioned by Amber Heard’s lawyer. Elaine Bredehoft asked him if testifying for Depp represented his 15 minutes of fame in the spotlight to which he replied:

I have nothing to gain from this.

I’m actually putting myself in the crosshairs of TMZ, which is a very litigious organisation.

I’d say the same thing if you took Amber Heard on as a client.

Psyche. That’s a pretty good answer from Tremaine and even though he’s probably supposed to be presenting an unbiased view of events, it seems pretty clear where his true allegiances lie.

Hopefully that won’t play against Depp as Tremaine’s testimony does paint the picture of Heard as a fame hungry bitch who will do whatever it takes to raise her profile which could be a key factor in influencing the jury. Not long to go now until we hear the verdict.
