It’s been a bad couple of weeks for Amber Heard during her trial with Johnny Depp as pretty much every headline surrounding it seems to imply that she’s an absolutely terrible human being and praising Johnny Depp.

It looks like it might be getting even worse too after it was revealed that she may be facing significantly less screen time in ‘Aquaman 2’. Apparently, filmmakers listened to the petition to remove her from the movie (which has over 3 million signatures since the start of the most recent trial) and have given her only ten minutes in the new movie.
The news was broken by comic book movie journalist Grace Rudolph, who has been known in the past to get solid scoops such as this one:

Well that doesn’t sound too good for Amber does it? Filming of the movie has already wrapped before its release date in March 2023 so it sounds like they could cut more of her out of it too if the trial continues to go badly for her. I seriously doubt they’ll be upping her screen time either.
The fact of the matter is that even Heard does end up winning the trial – which she may do given that she’s yet to give evidence and the nuances of the law might mean that what she wrote was legally OK – it seems like the damage done to her public persona might never be reconciled. This could be the first of many film roles she’s either written out of or just never ever gets anymore.
Tough time to be her, but I guess most people at this point are kind of in agreement that she deserves it? The trial continues.
