Scary situation in Brooklyn yesterday as a gunman went on a rampage at a subway station during rush hour. A manhunt is still underway for suspect Frank James, 62, who left 10 people with gunshot wounds but incredibly didn’t manage to kill anyone. [UPDATE: Frank James arrested minutes after this was published.]

Which I suspect he’ll be disappointed with given this video he shared online the night before:

Yikes. Sounds like Frank James had become extremely bitter and resentful at the world, and particularly with how he’d been treated at work. He also has a YouTube channel with 2,000 subs and it’s an absolute rollercoaster where he goes on hour-long racist rants about Jewish, white and Hispanic people. He also expresses disdain for black people and in one video says “[N-words] should be wiped off the planet, even though I am one.” He also claimed to have PTSD and said “We need to see more mass shootings. Yeah. … We need to see more, there has to be more mass shootings to make a n***er understand. … It’s not about the shooter; it’s about the environment in which he is, he has to exist.”

The NYPD believes James rented a U-Haul van whose keys were found at the scene of the shooting. Let’s hope they’ve captured the guy by the time you read this, because who knows what else he might have up his sleeve. Thoughts with Tuesday’s victims and let’s wish them all a speedy recovery.
