Like I keep saying, you can’t really do anything without hearing about the situation in Ukraine at the moment but here’s a story that should make you slightly less depressed about all that as it involves Ukrainian soldiers rescuing a cute dog.

The video was shared on Reddit yesterday and involves a bunch of Ukrainian soldiers taking in a freezing little puppy that they found trundling along, naming him Rambo and then using him for security at their outpost where he now regularly stands guard. He also runs around wagging his tail in the video which is very cute.

He is our protector, right Rambo.

We felt sorry for him, it was freezing outside.

We took him into our post and he stayed with us.

He is security, that’s his job. He is our watchdog.

He can hear very well if there is a stranger nearby.

He used to be so tiny he could fit in one hand.

Yeah I guess it isn’t so good that this is happening during an invasion/war, but it’s still a cute piece of footage that is going to warm all but the coldest of hearts. Let’s hope that Rambo continues to do a good job and repels those bastard Russians out of his country. Don’t even want to think about the alternative.
