So even after Joe Rogan owned up to that unfortunate N-word compilation that did the rounds last Friday, Spotify quietly deleted 113 episodes of the Joe Rogan Experience over the weekend. Spotify had no problem profiting off these episodes until those clips went viral, and are now stuck in this weird limbo where they want to hold onto their $100M cash cow but also not invite more negative headlines from people digging up everything Rogan has ever said over 10+ years of podcasting.

Enter Canada-based Youtube-alternative video platform Rumble…

Oh my. Where the hell did Rumble find $100M? I’m sure they’ve got some very wealthy investors behind the scenes, or maybe hosting JRE will end up paying for itself? Either way this seems to be a genuine offer that Rogan might consider unless he’s happy to do whatever Spotify wants just to move on from the drama. Not to mention – Spotify’s $100M up front is a way better deal than being paid $100M over 4 years. Maybe Rumble could sweeten the deal a little bit?

Rogan signed a ‘multi-year’ deal with Spotify so I’m not sure how he could get out of that unless they’ve breached the terms of their contract by removing his episodes. Otherwise he’d be the one breaching the contract and would have to fight a pretty hefty lawsuit if he were to take his catalogue over to Rumble. Should be interesting to see how this one pans out.

For the time Rogan casually admitted he could suck his own willy on his podcast, click HERE. Worth every penny!
