I don’t want to side with Taylor Swift over Damon Albarn. I really don’t. But you have to admit – she destroyed him here. Leads with disappointment, corrects the accusation that she doesn’t write her own music, and makes out like he’s some kind of misogynistic monster doing wider societal harm by lying about her. Just total online evisceration!

It’s pandemonium right now on Twitter with Taylor Swift’s borderline psychotic fans rinsing Damon Albarn into oblivion. I’m not sure if it’s really worth him attempting a comeback response because the crucial fact is that Taylor Swift does write her own songs. It’s basically her whole ethos! Unless Albarn has some inside info that he can pull up for us? Otherwise you’d think someone who’s been in the game as long as him would know not to rile up the Taylor Swift army. Absolute lunatics.
