Those slingshot rides that you see at fun fairs and at the beach look like absolutely no fun at all to me, so imagine getting whacked in the face by a seagull at 75mph as well when you’re on one.

This is sadly what happened over at Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Waterpark in New Jersey where 14 year old Georgia Reed and 13 year old Kiley Holman were strapped into one of them to celebrate Georgia’s birthday. Here’s what Georgia had to say about it all:

I knew there was no going back, it was just going to hit me.

I didn’t know what to do, so I wait for it to spin over and then I just grabbed it and threw it off me quick.

Lol that’s great and the look on her face really is something else isn’t it? Was kinda hoping that the seagull would actively peck at her or flap in her face to make it a bit more horrific and scary, but I suppose we should be thankful that young Georgia didn’t have to face anything more traumatic than what we saw. Happy 14th birthday kiddo.
