I had completely forgotten that Lil Uzi Vert implanted a $24 million diamond into his forehead earlier this year – despite it being one of the funnier stories going around in a year dominated by Coronavirus – but thankfully he’s popped up again to remind us all about it – by removing it.

The news was broken by his friend DJ Akademiks who posted a picture of Lil Uzi Vert alongside his girlfriend JT on his Instagram account, clearly showing that the diamond was no longer implanted in the middle of his forehead:

Damn. It’s not known yet why the Lil Uzi Vert decided to remove the diamond and it seems like kind of a weird course of action for him to take, as previously he had said that the whole reason he was implanting it on his forehead was so that he could keep it safe as he was worried about losing it if he wore it on a ring or similar.
He did mention when it was first implanted that it was causing him to bleed quite a lot so there could have been some kind of health related issues with it, but even so you would have expected him to have found a way around those as it was his lifelong dream to have a diamond implanted on his forehead. Hopefully it’s not long before it finds its way back to its natural location and also that Lil Uzi Vert manages to keep it safe from robbers whilst it’s out there in the wild. Must be stressful for the guy.
