I’m not really sure how popular Subway is anymore – I remember around 15 years ago it seemed like a cool, healthy alternative to most of the shitty fast food restaurants out there – but it’s definitely going to go down in everyone’s estimations after seeing this TikTok about their steak offering that was helpfully made by one of their employees.

The last time I bought a steak and cheese footlong from Subway I remember the steak came in a little bag and was kinda shredded up into strips and looked fairly appetising, but it turns out that it doesn’t turn up at the venue like this. Instead, it arrives looking like you can see below:

Jesus. That is completely and utterly disgusting and has probably caused me to lose any interest in ever going back to Subway and getting a sandwich ever again. How the hell can they knowingly serve that crap? Oh yeah, money.
It’s probably worth pointing out that this TikTok is almost certainly filmed at a Subway in America and that they are a lot grosser than the ones over here, but even so you can’t expect the steak from that place in this country to be much better than that disgusting block of crap that you can see in the video. Don’t go there and just pay the extra couple of quid for a good sandwich from an independent business. 100% worth it.
