A gigantic part of the internet is talking about Britney Spears and the weird conservatorship arrangement that she has with her father thanks to the new documentary that was released last Friday – that I still haven’t seen as nobody is hosting it over here – and now her current boyfriend has jumped in to speak about what a dickhead her father is.

Sam Asghari has been dating Britney since 2016 and has been more and more vocal about the situation in recent times in the build up to the release of the documentary. He posted on his Instagram story on February 2nd saying that he had zero respect for him and thought he was a total dick and then doubled down on this statement when TMZ managed to track him down on a coffee run:

What I said is what I said. I think he’s a dick, that’s just my opinion.

I hope I can have a good relationship with him.

Once he starts treating his daughter right, then we can be on good terms.

That’s kind of a weird thing to say right after the guy has pretty much swindled his daughter out of millions of dollars of her own money and manipulated his way into controlling almost every aspect of her life? Surely there’s no apologising and coming back from that at any point in your life, right? Unless maybe you were legitimately brainwashed or under mind control or something.

Anyway, like I said I haven’t seen the documentary yet but it from what I’ve read even before it came out, it sounds like her father is a complete knob and probably deserves this kind of abuse from hey boyfriend and the whole world to be honest. #FreeBritney
