It’s been well documented that the Conservative government have refused to appear on ‘Good Morning Britain’ for the last six months after they took a disliking to Piers Morgans’ hard line of questioning, and this reached its zenith last week when they ambushed Matt Hancock on his way into the BBC building and he insisted that no such boycott had taken place.

Therefore Hancock didn’t really have any choice other than to comply when Morgan invited him to appear on the show again, but I doubt even he was prepared for the rollicking he was set to receive from the controversial presenter and his co-anchor Susanna Reid. Hancock was questioned on why the government had boycotted GMB for six months, delaying to implement a national lockdown, the care home crisis and the shambles of the current test and trace system and wilted like a dead flower in the face of it all.

The actual video is 21 minutes long but it’s well worth watching to see Hancock squirm and try and convince himself – let alone the rest of the country – that the way he’s been handling the pandemic has been correct:

Man that really was an awesome watch wasn’t it, especially how they just completely rinsed him about everything he’s done throughout the pandemic and brought up the receipts to prove them as well. Except it isn’t actually that awesome because loads of people are dead and even more have had Coronavirus because of the ineptitude of Hancock and this government and their inability to even acknowledge their failings during the crisis is truly pathetic. You know what to do when the time comes.
